Surfboard Splinters??!! No, not really - but it kind of looks like it! Accented with sunflower petals and safflowers, this tea is actually the twigs and stems of the camellia sinensis (tea) plant. Typically called Kukicha, it is harvested from the carefully aged tea plants, then toasted, creating a fine tea with a nectar-like sweetness. Low in caffeine.
